Victor Benassi, Professor of Psychology, University of New Hampshire is interested in study methods that students report using in preparing for exams and which method they would choose in a specific context. He has received student responses from across the USA as well as from Scotland, England, Australia, Turkey, Singapore, New Zealand, Japan, Ireland, Serbia, Turkey, Wales, Northern Ireland, and France. He would greatly appreciate if you would forward the message below to undergraduate students on the academic courses you teach.
LLAS runs an annual competition for higher education students of languages, linguistics and area studies. This year, students may submit their entry in podcast, vidcast or essay format and the winner will win a cash prize of £300. Full details about the choice of competition topics and assessment criteria are available on our website and the closing date for this year's competition is 31 March 2010. Please advertise the competition to your students. Promotional materials will be available shortly and may be requested by emailing llas@soton.ac.uk
