LLAS has produced its well-known 'Why study languages...?' calendar in a monthly, downloadable format
LLAS has joined forces with the JISC to produce a monthly downloadable version of its language calendar. Language content has been provided by teachers working on the JISC-funded Community Café project and further related language practice activities can be found on the LanguageBox website.
We started off with Chinese and each month will feature a different language.. Find September 2011 at: http://languagebox.ac.uk/1976/ The calendar will run for 16 months until December 2012. A print version will also be available.
For the month of October 2011 the calendar is Bengali. Find it at : http://languagebox.ac.uk/1988/
