MORPHOLOGY AND WORD CLASS We can often tell whether a word is a noun, verb or adjective from the way it is formed e.g. -ion is usually a noun ending. This also helps us create other word classes e.g happy -> happiness. Decide from the morphemes whether the following are noun, adjective or verb:
