In this exercise, you have to complete the following sentences by entering the correct version of the adjective in brackets. But these adjectives lose a syllable before you add the plural ending (so they are called syncopated adjectives). To form the plural, reduce the number of syllables, then add a or e depending on whether the resulting ending is broad or slender. For example:
íseal -> ís*l -> ísle
deacair -> deac*r -> deacra
(The asterisk indicates the lost syllable.)
