Dealing with nouns, adjectives and gender

To complete this exercise you will need to know:
a) what happens to a noun after the definite article, and
b) what happens to an adjective after a noun.

Choose the sentence with the correct form of noun and adjective. This will depend on whether the noun is masculine or feminine.

Remember, you do not need to make any change to an adjective following a masculine noun. If it follows a feminine noun, you should aspirate.
