In this exercise, you have to substitute one of the words on the right for the underlined words in the sentences on the left. Click 'Ceartaigh' when you are finished.

Pronouns are words that can replace nouns (e.g. I, you, he, she, it). In Irish, these can be combined with prepositions (e.g. ag 'at, ar 'on') to give the forms you see in the column on the right. These compounded forms are called prepositional pronouns, because they contain both a preposition and a pronoun.
